Here are the beautiful and delicious caramel apples I made with the fam tonight. I felt like a real gormet with my candy thermometer. There are 5 different kinds of sugars in the caramel, along with 2 sticks of butter. Not to mention the candy topping. But, I reminded myself that they are healthy since they are mostly apple. And the ones with the nuts on top are practically dinner material.
The real problem is the 2 jars of leftover caramel that I have. That is most definitely NOT dinner material.
