44. Eat a deep fried Snickers

Yum. That's about the only thing you can say about these. They are fun size Snickers covered in funnel cake dough, fried and sprinkled with powered sugar. Can't get any better (or unhealthy) than that. I made these with friends at our Oscar party last Sunday. And I'll be makin' them again. AFTER I lose the 10 pounds I want to lose.

  2. Here's the recipe (I cut it in half and it still made a ton):

    4 large eggs
    2 and 2/3 cup milk
    1/2 cup + 2 Tbs white sugar
    5 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 Tbs + 1 tsp baking powder

    Mix all together. Heat peanut oil at 375 degrees. Dust with powdered sugar after they have been fried.

    I imagine you could substitute the wheat flour with a gluten free flour mixture. not sure if you need to add xanthan gum. I would probably stay away from any mixture that has bean flour in it :)
